Michael Bourke

Michael started working at Tamworth Regional Council in a technical role, before making a shift to the Applications Development team as the Web Services Officer four years ago.

During his time as Web Services Officer, Council has changed its strategy from providing all information on a single website (Portal), to developing over ten new function-driven websites.

The largest website development to-date is the Tamworth Regional Council website, which is approaching 1,500 unique pages since launching in December 2009.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is currently studying for a Masters of Management (IT).
