Didn’t make the conference? Thanks to Viocorp you won’t miss out.

This is great for any of you who weren’t able to make it to the conference. We understand that distance can be an obstacle especially if you’re based in the outer reaches of New South Wales. It’s also great for those of you were able to be there to refer back to and listen to any of the presentations you didn’t see if you were in the other room!

We Believe In Community: 21 - 22 August 2008

2 full days on web technologies, strategies, creativity, and standards. 12 sessions in 2 streams and 6 plenary sessions from some of the leading experts in the field from Industry and Government.

We've managed to gather an awesome list of speakers for our first conference. Check out the session descriptions and bios on the speakers page now. Okay sorry there's a few gaps, we're finalising a few details still but we're nearly there. Organising the program was a bit like trying to solve a Rubik's cube, but it's looking pretty good now. If you want to know what sessions will be on which day have a look at the draft program (this could be changed before the conference but we'll try and keep it as close to this as possible, we promise!).

Reem and I have been working hard planning the conference and getting registrations up. On the conference page you'll now find more details including a map of the conference location and accommodation in Sydney.

Okay the short version is that we're trying to create a wider web community within Local Government, and we're starting off with New South Wales as that's where we're based. We’re doing this by creating this site and also with a conference we’re planning in August this year.
